The Ecnhantment Table is used for various end-game / high-tier item upgrades.
A selection of high-tier gear, weapons and other items require various items to be upgraded via The Enchantment Table. When an item is selected in the Enchantment Table it shows in a compact menu how many and which items are required to perform the Upgrade. 
The Enchantment Table is located at the west exit of the ::home zone.
The Enchantment Table can also be used via the command CRTL+T (Galactic rank and up).
